The Fleet Asset Management team is responsible for delivering strategic aircraft induction, transition and fleet renewal projects across the Qantas Group. We're seeking a highly organised and commercially minded Fleet Asset Coordinator to help drive delivery excellence across some of our most significant fleet programs. 

In this role, you'll be responsible for strengthening project controls, coordinating procurement and supplier activities, maintaining governance frameworks and ensuring project risks, schedules, budgets and dependencies remain visible and effectively managed. Working closely with Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain and external partners, you'll play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of complex aviation projects. 

You'll be responsible for: 

  • Maintaining project governance, controls, schedules, reporting and risk management processes 
  • Coordinating purchasing, supplier activity and logistics requirements across fleet programs 
  • Managing project documentation, budgets, risks, issues and delivery milestones 
  • Preparing executive-level reporting and recommendations to support decision-making 
  • Identifying emerging risks and developing practical recovery solutions 
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and project teams 
  • Supporting aircraft induction, fleet transition and fleet renewal initiatives across the Qantas Group. 

What you'll bring: 

  • +7 years significant experience in aviation project coordination, project controls, procurement, asset management or a similar project-based environment 
  • Strong governance, planning and reporting capabilities within complex, multi-stakeholder programs 
  • Commercial and financial acumen, including procurement and supplier management experience 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to influence and challenge appropriately 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify risks before they impact delivery 
  • Exceptional organisation and attention to detail 
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills 
  • Experience within aviation, engineering, infrastructure or highly regulated industries will be highly regarded.
